Programs
The Anderson Entrepreneurial Center offers a wide array of
programs specifically catered to each phase of the
Business Life Cycle, including
inception, growth, maturity, and transition stages. Every
program challenges executives to think and manage more
effectively in an ever changing business environment.
All programs have been developed and are facilitated by central
Minnesota’s business leaders who understand and have
experienced, first hand, the various challenges entrepreneurs
encounter while guiding their organizations from one business
stage to the next. Distinguished St. Cloud State University
faculty members bring in their expertise in numerous disciplines
as a means to provide participants both the theoretical and
practical applications of the material being instructed.
Emerging Companies Forum
Hone the skills needed to create, manage and grow a successful
business through tackling actual challenges your business or
venture is experiencing. Receive practical advice from industry
professionals who’ve essentially been there, done that, and
build long-term relationships to benefit your business.
Owner-President Forum
Increase your effectiveness as a business leader through sharing
and developing decision-making techniques with an influential
group of peers. You will learn how to manage current performance
while innovating for the future and as a result, develop new
frameworks and tools to pursue opportunities and overcome
organizational challenges.
Managers’ Forum
Explore the role of each business function and the significance
of working as a team in creating a dynamic, forward looking
business for the benefit of all stakeholders. You will evaluate
innovative and pragmatic approaches to problem-solving as well
as increase your confidence in management decision making.
Foundations Series
Renew the fundamental skills, tools, and practices needed to
improve organizational effectiveness. Business functions and leadership
strategies explored include:

Succession Strategies
Forum
Prepare you and your business for an apparent ownership transition
through vigorously debating alternative succession strategies
and nurturing next-in-line leaders.
Governance
Forum
Develop a comprehensive
understanding of the responsibilities of Board members,
equipping you with the necessary tools, concepts, and strategies
needed to become a more effective director or advisor. You will
gain insight into committee structures and functions, crisis
management, and boardroom dynamics.
Entrepreneurial Luncheon Series
Network with fellow central Minnesota entrepreneurs and business
executives through this speaker series that invites leading
Minnesota entrepreneurs to share their achievements and engage
in discussion on current and future trends in the ever evolving
local and global business environment.
