Program Managers
RICK BAUERLY, MBA, MPA
Principal, Granite Equity Partners

Rick serves as the Volunteer Program Director of the Anderson Entrepreneurial Center. In his other capacities, Rick is the founder of Venture Allies and a Principal in Granite Equity Partners. He has considerable experience with business strategy and development, organization design and structuring, operations and technology management, and financial planning and controls. In prior roles, Rick managed the corporate administrative functions for a rapidly growing, middle-market construction company, served as an independent consultant to a national transportation business, and worked in the management consulting group of a "Big 5" professional services firm.

Mr. Bauerly graduated with honors from Saint John's University, majoring in Economics and Management. He went on to earn a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government.

 

PATRICK EDEBURN, MBA
Principal, Granite Equity Partners

Pat is the Program Manager of the Succession Strategies Forum. Additionally, Pat is a co-founder and Principal of Granite Equity Partners, a St. Cloud based private equity investment firm. Prior to joining Granite Equity, he spent nine years with Medtronic in a variety of venture management and marketing positions, including Pricing Manager for cardiac rhythm products, Product Manager for the Sigma line of pacemakers and Director of Corporate Accounts for Medtronic’s largest and most profitable division. Prior to Medtronic, Pat worked in the Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group. Pat serves on the Board of Directors for the Anderson Entrepreneurial Center.

Pat earned his Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Carleton College.

 

CHRIS KUDRNA, MBA
Consultant, Venture Allies, LLC

Chris serves as the Program Manager for the Managers’ Forum, a program designed to equip middle level management and business professionals with enhanced decision-making and management skills. Chris also consults for clients in strategy, industry and competitive analysis, project management and executive team effectiveness, through Venture Allies. Over the past ten years Chris has worked with many senior executives to develop actionable strategic plans and to increase the efficiency and productivity of their organizations. Earlier in his career, Chris spent sixteen years in the financial services industry, including thirteen years with a leading global credit card company. Half of this time he was an executive for the company's financial advisors division and was an inside board member for their largest and most profitable subsidiary.

Mr. Kudrna graduated with honors from Macalester College with a major in Economics. He went on to earn an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

 

MARTY MORAN, MBA
Founder, Clear Path, LLC

Marty serves as the Program Manager for the Emerging Companies Forum. He also founded Clear Path Investment Partners, an equity fund that invests in and plays an active role in managing privately held businesses with up to $10 million in revenue, and Clear Path, a business consulting firm that plays an active role with a company’s ownership and management team to help them prepare for the future, grow revenue, and enhance owner value. Additionally, Marty has been involved in different franchise and real estate ventures.

Prior to starting Clear Path, Marty worked for Surebridge, the Valspar Corporation, Anderson Consulting’s Strategy Consulting Group, and McMaster-Carr Supply Company. Marty has worked in various general management and functional roles, including Sales and Marketing, Strategic Planning, Supply Chain Management, and Information Technology. Currently, Marty serves on the Advisory Boards for Marco and K-Netica, and the Board of Directors for Endurable Building Products, the St. Cloud Area YMCA, the Morgan Family Foundation, and the Anderson Entrepreneurial Center.

Marty earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan.

 
MARC SANDERSON, MBA
Owner, Wilkie Sanderson

Marc Sanderson is the Program Manager for the Owner-President Forum. He is also the owner and President of Wilkie Sanderson, a Sauk Rapids manufacturer of architectural woodworking [www.wilkiesanderson.com.] Marc has spent the last nine years navigating Wilkie Sanderson from a small business to a professionally managed strategic firm. Prior to Wilkie Sanderson, Marc worked in the automotive industry serving a variety of management roles for Saturn, Chrysler and ASC, Inc. Marc currently serves on the Board of the Anderson Entrepreneurial Center.

Marc earned his MBA from the Harvard School of Business and holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
 
SHAWN TEAL
Partner, SplitRock Financial Group

Shawn serves as the Program Manager of the Entrepreneurial Luncheon Series. In addition, Shawn is a Partner with SplitRock Financial Group; where his focus is on wealth management and retirement planning for individuals and closely held businesses and non-profits. Shawn is also President of Forest Hill Capital LLC and a Co-Founder of Central Ventures Inc. LLC. Prior to establishing SplitRock Financial Group, Shawn was the CEO of UniqueScreen Media, and a Vice President at St. Cloud State University and President of the SCSU Foundation. He was co-owner of the Des Moines Buccaneers, Sioux Falls Stampede, and Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League, and a former member of the United States Hockey League’s Board of Directors.

Shawn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, with an emphasis in Biochemistry.
