Emerging Companies Forum
As an entrepreneur, you continue to face challenges even after you have started operations, implemented your initial business plan, and validated your product or service through sales in the marketplace. The fundamental challenges facing your business include diversification of your customer base, profitable growth, the need for additional key personnel and strategic business advisors, professional management tools and controls, cash flow and access to cash. The Emerging Companies Forum is designed to help the entrepreneur transition to a business manager (and hopefully a business leader) and better position themselves for the future.

Program Objectives
  • Provide select entrepreneurs with a targeted curriculum that addresses their specific opportunities and challenges
  • Introduce key elements and building blocks of Management
  • Present candid feedback that challenges the entrepreneurs’ assumptions to improve business planning and implementation
  • Provide a mentoring relationship that extends beyond the Forum to help the entrepreneur and venture move forward
Program Manager/Instructor
The Emerging Companies Forum is facilitated by Marty Moran, a successful entrepreneur, private equity investor, and management consultant.  Marty has extensive experience in the areas of Sales and Marketing, Strategic Planning, Supply Chain Management, and Information Technology.
 
Target Audience
The Emerging Companies Forum is designed for the Central Minnesota business owner/entrepreneur who is ready to take the next step from an entrepreneur to a professional manager. The ideal business will have a proven track record of sales to the marketplace and a written plan for the next phase of their company.
