ANDERSON ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Anderson Entrepreneur of the Year Award, sponsored by
Anderson Tricking Service, provides
recognition for exceptional entrepreneurial spirit, skill, and
creativity. Award recipients include:
2007 Award Winner: Granite-Tops
Kip Cameron is the founder and CEO
of Granite-Tops. Granite-Tops is the largest stone fabricator in the upper
mid-west and has 3 main facilities in Cold Spring, Plymouth and
Albertville. Granite-Tops employs a team of 85 employees with a
total economic impact of $3.1 million dollars in payroll
annually.

Nomination criteria:
This award is bestowed upon the
most qualified of companies based on the following criteria:

Must have been in business for a minimum of 5 years
·
Must have amassed a net worth of over $500,000
·
Must have shown a profit for at least the last 3 years
·
Must have shown a steady growth in the areas of: a) number of
employees b) profit c) sales
·
Must have exhibited a strong commitment to social responsibility
How is the winner selected?
The Anderson Entrepreneurial Center’s Executive Committee
reviews all nominations and determines the winner.
When is the Award presented?
The
Anderson Entrepreneur of the Year Award is presented at the
Anderson Entrepreneurial Center’s Annual Banquet held in the
spring of each year.
How
can I nominate an entrepreneur?
To nominate a deserving entrepreneur or to nominate oneself,
please fill out a
nomination form, and forward it to the Anderson
Entrepreneurial Center. The submission deadline for each year is
March 31.
The winner will be contacted in advance of the ceremony for
further instruction.
